“Art,” as she is affectionately known, is an art educator with the Boulder Valley School District. She earned her B.A. from Morehead State University, Morehead, Kentucky. She became a docent in 2014 after completing training at Denver Art Museum. She has held many roles in leadership at the museum and collaborated with artists to broaden conversations with student groups and community members. She was the liaison during Jordan Casteel: Returning the Gaze. Received a certificate of Museology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

“I am an abstract artist; I am essentially interested in creating works that call for the viewer’s participation; none of my work has titles. I paint fragments that are the total of me. As I dive into the abstract world with colors, shapes, and patterns, you might find my sorrows, joy, and pain. When you take time to interact with my artwork, you will know more about me.”
